Our creative process 💭
From artisanal pyrography to the creation of socially conscious clothing
Before I started printing designs on ethical t-shirts, I used to burn them in the woods. I sculpted, I pyrographed by hand.
I let the fire and the hand draw together, guided by something older than me.

It was slow, deliberate, almost ritualistic. Each handcrafted creation seemed to summon a world, to open an invisible door.
And then one day, I wanted these symbols to go further.
Let them leave the walls, the shelves, the frozen wood. Let them walk with people, slip into their daily lives, become part of them.

That's when the idea came to me: what if my drawings became clothes? But not just any clothes.
I wanted them to carry meaning, not only through their myth-inspired designs, but in their very essence. I dreamed of responsible clothing, good from beginning to end. Good for the planet, good for human beings, and cruelty-free. Sustainable clothing that leaves behind only respect and beauty.
So I searched. I trained. And Mythweave was born: organic, ecological, vegan fibers, carefully designed and worn with pride.

Creating a brand as a couple: when two visions unite to weave a project
We built this creative project together, with Joffrey from the very beginning. We envisioned Mythweave as the natural extension of our shared vision and everything that we are.
Our late-night discussions, our shared readings on ancient myths and traditions, our meditative walks… All of this has shaped the symbolic DNA of what we create today.

An anthropologist, historian of religions, and son of pagan traditions, nurtured by spiritual initiations and encounters with priests, sages, and tribal chiefs, Joffrey brought to Mythweave a profound symbolic architecture, a structuring, almost cosmological breath. He laid the philosophical foundations of the brand, outlined its core ethical principles, and ensured that our myth-aligned aesthetic resonates with our spiritual and ethical commitment. He makes sure that every choice rings true—symbolically, aesthetically, and ecologically.

Each Mythweave design is born from a creative exchange, from a cross between my artistic gesture and his vision, between our two intertwined memories.
And each collection takes shape in this living tapestry between our inspiring dialogues, our travels around the world, our "philosophical happy hours" where we dream, often aloud, of a more beautiful, more respectful, more connected world.
Sometimes I sketch the form of our designs and give them meaning. Sometimes it's the other way around. But always, we weave together.

From notebook to tablet: adapting to create while traveling
Initially, I drew on paper. Always. Then I scanned them, vectorized my drawings in Illustrator, cleaned them up, and refined them. It was artisanal, yes. But it was me.
And then, there was the big leap.
Joffrey and I left France. We set off on the roads of the world, with no return date.
In our bags: very little. A few clothes, a laptop, a notebook. And one question on our minds: how to keep creating while constantly on the move? So we adapted. We rethought everything.
Our clothes had to be beautiful yet practical, durable yet lightweight. They had to withstand the rigors of a nomadic lifestyle, dry quickly, and not retain sweat after a three-hour walk in 35°C (95°F) heat.
And I traded my sheets of paper for a tablet.
Another way of drawing, more fluid, more mobile, but which has retained the same soul.
I now draw digitally, but my creative spark has remained the same.
Traveling to create: how myths, places, and encounters nourish our motifs
Nothing comes from nowhere.
Every Mythweave design is influenced by what we read, watch, and experience on a daily basis.
Ancient myths, world legends, art, inspiring landscapes, human encounters, travel, and sometimes silences too.
We don't seek inspiration: it comes to us, often without warning.

I am thinking, for example, of a day in Thailand, at the Chao Mae Tuptim Shrine, a small sanctuary nestled in the heart of Bangkok. Dedicated to a fertility deity, this place is filled with palad khik: traditional phallic amulets, carved in wood or stone, symbols of protection, fertility and abundance.
Placed there as a ritual offering, these sacred objects are believed to attract good fortune or honor spirits.
Far from the clichés, it was neither vulgar nor disturbing. Just a silent space, imbued with faith, living symbols, and deeply rooted traditions.
I then thought of Dionysus, of those ancient processions where bodies danced to celebrate life , fertility, joyful chaos. And in that moment shared with Joffrey, something resonated deeply. An invisible bridge between Greek myths, Thai rituals, and our own creative quests.

A few weeks later, this memory was transformed into a textile motif: a Dionysian procession, printed on the back of a Mythweave t-shirt.
Bodies in motion, gestures of offering, a vibrant, solar, almost wild energy.
And when we returned to the sanctuary, I carried it, in silence, I let the symbol return to where it was born.
A way of closing the loop, or perhaps simply opening another one.
Wearing a Mythweave garment means becoming a co-creator of a living art.
Mythweave exists thanks to a shared movement.
Each ethical piece is born from a living dialogue: between our hands, the artisans who make them and your impulses, between our mythological inspirations and what you embody.
When you choose a Mythweave garment, you become a co-creator.
You give life to symbols, you continue their story , you anchor them in reality, in your gestures and in your way of inhabiting the world.
You carry living stories, gestures of love for the Earth, for ancient traditions, for beauty.
Your way of walking in the world inspires our next designs, our new textile creations.

And every time one of our ethical garments accompanies you, it extends this invisible bond woven from respect, joy, freedom and imagination.
Together, we are building something else. Clothing that celebrates. Art that connects. A committed vision that takes shape with every step you take.
